Deviating from the number based “naming” system that RIM is typically known for, the world was introduced to the Blackberry Pearl, a much more consumer-friendly name. And now it seems we might have another “name” branded Blackberry.
The makers of the upcoming Blackberry 8300 who owned the domain Blackberry8300.com have also snatched up the domain BlackberryCurve.com, which the first one now directs to. The Blackberry, which has been an object of obssession for the business set for years, is seeking out an expanded user base. The Blackberry Curve is set to meld the business and consumer worlds of the Blackberry. Nice. I kind of like this new naming system.
