Best Buy to Offer Black Tie Protection for the iPhone 3GS

When Best Buy will sell the iPhone 3GS next week you will be able to choose the Black Tie Protection when purchasing your first iPhone 3GS. While usual plans range from $7 to $10 per month in order to cover future spills, drops, scratches and other dangerous things that can happen to your mobile phone, the iPhone 3GS Black Tie Protection plan will cost $15 per month or $180 per year. But you’re going to feel better next time you spill coffee on your phone. Is it really worth spending that extra money on the iPhone 3GS considering that next year you will probably get an even better iPhone?
