Starting today, Best Buy Mobile will be pre-selling the highly anticipated Motorola DROID smartphone. This is the first smartphone from Verizon which runs on the Android platform and will officially be launched in stores by November 6. For the people who will be getting the Motorola DROID via the Best Buy Mobile stores, instant savings will be applied at the point of purchase. The Motorola DROID will retail for $199.99 which includes a 2-year activation contract.
