BenQ SL98 Slider Concept Phone
BenQ-Siemens has come out with a strikingly new cell phone design in the form of a concept phone called the SL98 Slider. The main display slides out on the top when needed, otherwise you have just the bottom half of the phone in your hand. Feels a bit weird, don't you think? It mostly looks like a pocket calculator, with the small external display to show caller information and such.
Once the primary display pops out, you can also use the camera at its back. Otherwise, it is pretty much standard-fare. Will this stay as a concept phone in the BenQ-Siemens labs or hit the market some time in the near future? Hold on to your hats, we'll get the news as it happens.
