That’s right Bell customers, you should be happy to know that Bell is ready to sell a Palm Pre to you. In fact the carrier has a new ad which should convince you to pre-order a Pre right away. And in case you feel like you’ve seen that particular ad before then you probably have. Others did it before and you might have heard about the phone in question. People like to call it the iPhone. Don’t get me wrong there! The Pre is definitely a great phone, only it hasn’t risen to everyone expectations. And it hasn’t been able to comfortably fight against the iPhone just yet. But what do you think Bell customers? Are you going to purchase your Pre soon?

Love the Pre, hate the DOA policy. Apparently Palm has a policy of more than 30 minutes airtime or 30 days after purchase, whichever comes FIRST, its not a DOA, its a repair. I had my Pre 6 days and it turned into a $400 brick. I would say that if the unit fails on its own within 30 days, it should be a DOA, with immediate instore replacement. But no, I have to wait until Palm ships me a new one, and given my experience returning stuff to Palm, that can take a year!
