Beejive allows you to IM anywhereBy Mark Rollins - 01/06/2010 2:15:59 AM |
While I was at CES Unveiled, I had a chance to stop by Beejive’s booth. I had never heard of them before, but it is an interesting mobile application that allows IMing, anywhere. In fact, it is able to handle multiple IMs like Yahoo, Facebook Chat, Google Talk, AIM/iChat/MobileMe, MSN/Windows Live, MySpace, ICQ, and Jabber all together on one Window. It’s better than having to open a new IM application for every single person.
Beejive is available for both BlackBerry and iPhone users, and it can save them money by using IM instead of paying for SMS. The version for the iPhone 3GS allows for video footage, and the BlackBerry uses GPS to be location aware.
The full list of features can be found on the Beejive site. It costs $14.99 for the BlackBerry version, and the iPhone version costs $9.95.
