With this iPhone app, users now have another way of getting places faster and also a means to avoid the congested roads in their area. The Beat the Traffic iPhone app is a free iPhone app which provides owners a “crowd-sourced” software with detailed information collected from 100 cities in the US and Canada.

Features include graphs and the showing of traffic volume of routes at various parts of the day. The map shows color-coded information, showing users areas of congestion and the exact locations of accidents, construction, or other events that can cause delays. The app is now available at the iTunes app store for free.
