I am not certain why, but it took a while for Battleship to come to the iPhone. You would think that the game would be a simple exchange of coordinates between two users, but it has three single-player and three multiplayer modes.

The Battleship iPhone app also includes 3D graphics for cutscenes, and also has new firing options like an Air Strike, Frag Bomb, Chain Gun and things that make the game more complicated than it should be. You should be able to get this app at the iTunes store for about three bucks.
