BassJump subwoofer for MacBooks

Those who are looking for a little extra bass sound for your MacBook should probably invest in the BassJump subwoofer. As you can see, it is a small box that plugs to a spare USB port, but what you don’t see is its unique ability to combine audio from the MacBook speakers with the low frequency bass coming from the device itself. It also has a VU meter with preferences including rock, pop, and R&B.

You should be able to purchase it for about $80 on the Twelvesouth website. It doesn’t look like it will work for the PC, so I wouldn’t try.
