Barnes and Noble to carry Samsung E6 e-book reader

smasung-e6A lot of sources have commented that Barnes and Nobile isn’t worried about a little healthy competition as they have agreed to market the Samsung E6 slider e-reader, even though they probably want to sell the Nook.

Granted, I would probably want to buy it as well, but hey, Amazon, makers of the Kindle has a truckload of e-book readers. After all, it is up to the business what it decides to sell or not to sell, but in the end, giving the customers more options wins out against a monopoly. It’s nice when that works out.

Anyway, the Samsung E6 is a sliding e-reader with a six-inch screen, and it will probably have a relatively low price point of $299.
