There’s a brand new eBook reader in town, or at least there will be one starting with October 20. Barnes and Noble is ready to go against Amazon’s Kindle. Its new eBook reader is supposed to be unveiled at a special event in New York on October 20. Early pictures of the unnamed device have been leaked and we have some features available for you. The reader will offer you two distinct displays: an e-ink 6-inch display capable of 800 x 600 resolution, a secondary color LCD screen capable of 480 x 144 resolution and multitouch support and 3G connectivity. We have no prices at this time but we’ll be back with more news once Barnes and Noble makes this hybrid reader available.
