Sprint is in a hurry to set up their Xohm networks in these two American cities. Baltimore and Washington DC are going to be taken into the 4G era by the end of 2008.

Sprint, AT&T or Verizone Wireless are just a few of the carriers working on developing faster networks. 3G, despite is not available to everyone everywhere, is going to be replaced by faster networks and data transfer will be significantly boosted. Sprint are going to be the first since they are obviously trying to beat AT&T to it.

I wonder who’s going to be more successful at deploying 4G networks in the near future. For now WiMax seems to be coming strong while LTE seems to be to be the future standard of mobile communication and data transfer.
