Ballmer announces Windows 7 Tablets at WPC 2010By Mark Rollins - 07/12/2010 4:20:26 PM |
At WDC 2010 in Washington DC, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer confirmed that Windows 7 slates will be arriving sometime this year.
These devices would be in “various price points and in a variety of form factors”. You can see in the picture the many companies like Toshiba represented there, and HP has been long rumored. I think that Slate deal didn’t work out.
Considering all the tablets that have surfaced just this year, this really shouldn’t come as any surprise.
