Azingo: New All-in-One Linux Mobile Platform

|

linux%20logo.jpgA part of the LiMo Foundation, a group formed by NTT DoCoMo, Samsung, Vodafone, and Motorola, Azingo is a new all-in-one Linux mobile phone platform. Called Celunite in its developmental stages, The company aims to market their product as a complete Linux package including developments tools, middleware, kernel, integrations services and applications. They had decided to take this approach because according to them,

"Mobile Linux has failed because there's a big integration problem. People come with piece parts."

Of course, Azingo isn't exactly the first to offer a complete Linux mobile platform package, but it sure is interesting to see which brand would carry it first.
