The Layar augmented reality browser is now available in the App Store and it’s ready to offer you a different perspective on reality. The app uses the iPhone’s camera in order to overlay data on various points of interest. That way you’ll be able to get a lot of information on various attractions around you.

The application is available for free right now but if it becomes popular then a premium, read not free version, will also be developed. Layar works with various third party developers to offer you a lot of new layers. These layers will let offer you lots of details about restaurant, shops, train and bus schedules and more. You’ll just have to install the browser on your iPhone in order to enjoy all that augmented reality!
