Augen has recently presented a new tablet running the Android OS, which is entitled Gentouch78 and can be considered a budget-solution with a price tag of $150.

In terms of specifications the Gentouch78 offers a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels, a processor running at 800MHz and besides the 256MB of DDR2 RAM memory it also has 2GB of internal memory. Other features include WiFi, a slot for SD or MMC memory cards, and Android OS version 2.1. The Augen Gentouch78 is available for purchase at Kmart.
