AT&T is ready to release the Quickfire sometime in November. The phone will cost $99.99 after a two-year agreement and some mail-in rebate. The main features of the phone are the 3G support and the full QWERTY keyboard which will let you unleash the hidden heavy SMS texter in you. AT&T Mobile Music is also going to be available with this Quickfire handset which means you can listen to some music while sending those emails away.

i`ve spent the last few days for a total of about 14 hours researching everything i could on this phone….seems like a really good phone made by ut starcom…it`s the old knick that was carried by radio shack (very few but poitive reviews ) and soon to be a big seller for at&t.
very smart marketing by at&t for putting a 99 dollar 2 year agreement to it knowing that it is trying to lure the limited funded youth market (notice the green and orange colors )who make up for a huge percentage of today`s texters…
this phone does a great deal for you with the only drawbacks seen are the 1.3 camera could have been a little better and the supposed battery life of only 3 hours…it`s possible that it only gives you 3 hours talk time but common sense tells me that 3 hour talk time would never translate into 12 days of stand by time so something`s got to give..most likely one of these figures is wrong and i hope it`s the 3 hour talk time ? like any other phone it might take a generation or two to work out it`s kinks but for 100 bucks you probably can`t go wrong with this phone…oh and by the way i actually sold my i-phone to try one out…the i-phone is so over hyped…the speakerphone is useless and the incoming volume on all the ringtones as well as during a live call are pathetic for a 100 dollar phone never mind the 4 or 5 hundred tag associated with this one….you also can`t text on it unless your fingers are the size of a 3 month old as the keys are so close together and since the touch sreen is heat sensitive you can`t even use a tool…as well as the screen will not turn to landscape while texting…it does do alot of things great but as a phone stick with the proven phone makers and go to apple for their great i-pods… unless you like talking on a headset all the time it`s a total waste of money and don`t believe the marketing blitz that`s just bombarding you from every angle with these i-phones…
i suggest you take the lesson i`ve learned and read bloggers about a product your about to buy…if i would have i never would have bought the i-phone…it`s just simple overkill as you probably will never use half of what you pay a pretty price for…..however with a new product like this you should either wait and if you just can`t because you have to have it make sure it doesn`t come with a tag that stings for longer than it should….that`s why you can`t go wrong with this phone…hope this was helpful….good luck everybody !
sorry about the spelling i`m always in a rush….lol
