AT&T version of Nexus One on the way?U

Rumors have already let us know that Google will be selling the Nexus One directly to consumers via their website with no subsidization from carriers. However, we also learned that T-Mobile would be supporting the phone offering device specific plans and what not.

Now, more rumors have surfaced that HTC will be developing an alternative version of the Nexus One with AT&T 3G built in, obviously for use on the AT&T network.

Is this to be believed? We still have no idea as Google has still yet to officially announce the Nexus One’s existence.
