Despite selling the Pre’s main competitor, the iPhone, AT&T will apparently not say no to a deal with Palm. For now the Pre will be sold solely with a Sprint agreement. But once that Sprint exclusivity expires, a lot of carriers will be interested in the Pre, AT&T included. It looks like AT&T’s CEO Randall Stephenson “sees” AT&T getting the Pre once available. And since Palm is really counting on the Pre to bring its business back on top we wouldn’t be surprised to see AT&T and a whole bunch of U.S. carriers lining up for Pre deals starting with next year. That’s of course if everything goes well with the first Pre launch and the people will fall in love with the device.
