AT&T: Rockin' the Whole US with its Improved 3G Service

AT&T sets to capture the USA as it expands its 3G services to 80+ more cities in the country. This means the network giant now boasts a whopping 350 markets in the USA that includes 100 major cities. Also, from the advertised 400 to 700kpbs speed of AT&T's BroadbandConnect 3G network, it's now going to be between 600 to 1400 kbps. AT&T is planning to add 1,500 more cell sites and will launch its HSUPA (High Speed Uplink Packet Access) network by mid-2008.
