AT&T, RIM to Hold Press Conference Next WeekBy Jeff Baker - 07/27/2010 5:57:31 PM |

It was just announced today that AT&T and Research in Motion (RIM, for short) will be holding a BlackBerry press conference next Tuesday August 3rd. While there is nothing confirmed as to what they will announce at this press conference, we have a pretty good hunch as to what it will be about.
First of all, BlackBerry OS 6 has been talked about immensely these past couple of weeks. Considering both Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS have been gaining such momentum, now would be a great time for RIM to out their latest and greatest operating system.
Additionally, the BlackBerry Slider we’ve all been hearing about has too been talked about quite a bit. We have yet to hear anything official about the device but considering it’s been leaked so many times its practically official, Tuesday would also be a great time for RIM to announce this device.
Of course, we’ll be on hand covering the event so you could always check back then.
