While AT&T has managed to conceal the Bold from the public for quite a few months they didn’t go though all that trouble with the Quickfire, or the Knick. The handset was rumored to be released on November 10th. Instead of delaying the launch, AT&T has actually launched the handset two days earlier. The price is $149.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year contract. The phone was purchased in small U.S. town in an AT&T store. Is anyone able to verify the story?

Yep, I purchased it today in Northern NJ. I’ve been playing with it some, so if you have any questions, let me. According to the AT&T forums, I’m not the only one to get it early.
I got this yesterday and its awesome. Go get it now. It can do anything
I played with the Quickfire in an AT&T store in suburban Detroit this past Saturday, and what a disappointment. The touchscreen is almost completely nonresponsive and flexes so much I can’t see it lasiting for the long haul. Maybe they had a defective unit because I sooooo wanted to love this phone. Anyone out there with a more positive experience? If not, when is this going to stop? Cellular providers dropping phones on the marketplace that have obviously not been throughly tested. Once again, I hope that’s not the case here. Would someone please prove me wrong.
ive seen so many reviews on this phone some bad and some good so i dont know what to think. im debating on whether i should get this or wait for the LG xenon..if that exists?
