AT&T promotes “Cell Phones for Seniors” EventBy Tony - 11/19/2008 7:01:47 PM |

AT&T and OASIS have joined forces to create an event made specifically for seniors, with the purpose to show them how easy it is to use a cellphone. It will take place in November 21st, at the University Hospital in Dewitt.
At “Cell Phones for Seniors” there will be a few AT&T volunteers that will tutor the seniors in various aspects of a mobile phone, such as how to send a text message and checking the voice mail, or even more basic stuff such as controlling the volume or storing a number on the address book. It can be considered a basic task for some people, but it isn’t that simple for the elderly.
Since promotion of an AT&T service is expected, seniors will get to know HAC – Hearing Aid Compatible – options.
