AT&T Getting Windows 7 Phone Promotional Material Early?

Microsoft has long been a viable competitor in the handset industry with their Windows Mobile operating system but as competing mobile operating systems like iOS, Android and webOS continue to become more and more innovative, Windows Mobile has lagged behind.

Lucky for Microsoft, their forthcoming Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system has long been viewed as their return to greatness. While we haven’t gotten our hands on it and don’t know for sure when the first Windows Phone 7 powered device will be made available, some reports that have just surfaced give us a bit of hope signifying a Windows Phone 7 release soon.

It seems that AT&T has begun receiving Windows Phone 7 promotional materials early which means we may be seeing the platform launch soon. Although, Engadget lets us know that companies usually begin sending out promotional materials for their phones up to or more than 4 months early.

Whatever the case is, Windows Phone 7 is coming, and soon.
