One of the biggest problems with reporting on a blog like this is that I’m not certain if someone else reports on the big news. I mean, I didn’t even bother covering the iPad because I knew one of the other writers would.
Anyway, here is the big news: AT&T is teaming with Alcatel-Lucent and Ericsson who will be supplying 4G by 2011. AT&T will be doing field trials later in 2010, and it promises transfer rates of 140-300Mbps.
So you know how Sprint is saying they have the first 4G network, well, they don’t have the last.
