AT&T fourth quarter earnings up 26 percent compared to last year

6-15-07-att-new-logo-smIt would appear that everyone’s fourth quarter earnings are on display, and AT&T’s earnings are up 26 percent compared to last year. I suppose what helped that number are the 3.1 million iPhone activations, 2.7 million wireless customers, and the 1 million new customers stemming from e-book readers.

The profits could go up compared to the Kindle, Nook, Sony Reader, and iPad, but we’ll need to compare that to Verizon.
