AT&T finally getting Android handsetsBy Jeff Baker - 01/06/2010 4:07:33 PM |
Just about every major carrier in the United States has picked up an Android powered handset except for one: AT&T. While it was known that they would be getting the devices at one point it was not known exactly when or what kinds.
Today, the carrier has announced that they will officially be getting handsets from Dell, Motorola and HTC all running the Android operating system.
While it wasn’t announced exactly what handsets the carrier would be getting we do get some hints. From Dell, obviously the Mini 3, Motorola, possibly the Droid and from HTC well, it’s apparently going to be an all new handset so we can’t really guess what that will be.
