You’ve probably used an application on your mobile phone made with the Plusmo platform but maybe just don’t know it… Now that AT&T has acquired the company which creates mobile applications, you’ll most likely get used to the name Plusmo.

What’s good about Plusmo is that it can make the development time become shorter, and therefore the cost of the applications will also become cheaper (at least for AT&T). The other positive point of Plusmo is being a cross-platform that makes it easy for developers to launch applications in different devices and operative systems, be it for cellphones, for TV, and also for computers. Taking in consideration that Plusmo has good deals with handset manufacturers and other leading careers, this is a certainly a good move by AT&T…

Krishna Vedati, CEOat Plusmo, comments:

Plusmo’s mobile platform capabilities will help contribute to AT&T’s effort to accelerate consumer adoption of mobile applications as well as expand the opportunity for publishers, media brands, service companies and developers to reach a large and coveted audience across a broad range of devices.
