Asus has recently presented a portable navigation device named R710 that comes with a good set of features, and should also have a decent price that is unknown so far.

One of the good features included on the R710 is PathFinder HUD Support, that displays details related to navigation such as directions and speed, directly on the windshield of the vehicle. This is an obvious response to people that have “disasters” while looking at the display screen of a GPS system, instead of looking at the road.

Specifications of the device itself, include a larger then normal 5-inch touchscren interface, support for MP3 files, bluetooth handsfree function, a built-in light sensor for the LCD panel, and slot for MicroSD memory cards that can go up to 8GB. Video content can also be viewed on the Asus R710.

At only 13.5 mm slim and 200 g in weight, the R710 is light enough for easy portability, and with its elegant and sleek look, fits perfectly into any car interior.
