The new Asus M70 notebook lets you enjoy unparalleled HD experience with a full WUXGA widescreen display at 1920x1200 pixels resolution and support for Blu-Ray. With integrated Altec Lansing speakers and Dolby Home Theater, movies on the laptop are now even more real. With a 17 inch display featuring 16:10 aspect ratio, expect your HD movies to be reproduced in their native resolution without any losses due to scaling. The M70 also features AI Light, which automatically adjusts display brightness based on ambient lighting for your viewing comfort. It also features an HDMI port. For multimedia usage - the target application of this laptop - Asus has also developed a new interface. The laptop's touch pad turns into a control deck for playing around with volume, play/stop/pause and so on.

For next-gen security, the Asus M70 features a facial scan to confirm the user's identity, coupled with a fingerprint scanner. No more remembering cryptic passwords to protect your data. Specs in the extended entry. No word on the pricing.
