Asus G70
In case you were wondering there are other Asus laptops out there other than the Eee PC lines. The G70 is a more than powerful gaming machine. I’d love to get my hands on that. The things we could do together… Good thing that I’m not into computer games like I was once.

The G70 is more than a match to Dell’s XPS or the most recent Alienware PCs. And its price says it all. You can buy one in the UK now for just £1,999 which is approximately $3,948.2. Airplane fare not included.

Let me remind you why it’s worth all that money. You have a 17-inch WUXGA/WXGA+ screen perfect for great action games but also for high definition box office hits. There’s an optional Core 2 Extreme processor which, if professionally mixed with that twin GeForce 8700M GT graphics cards and a few GB of RAM will deliver a unique gaming experience. There’s gigabit Ethernet for fast LAN/internet connection and the usual Bluetooth/WiFi support. I wouldn’t really need the optional Blu-ray writer but since that’s where we’re moving towards why not get one.

And you’ll get to visit London while looking for your G70. Take a photo of that silly-hat army guys for me too.
