The ASUS Eee PC 1201N that we mentioned a few weeks ago is now available for pre-orders.

In case you forgot the black model of the Eee PC codenamed 1201N-PU17-BK comes with a dual-core Intel Atom N330 processor running at 1.6GHz, and 2GB of DDR RAM memory. On the hard-drive there is 250GB of storage capacity, while the 6-cell battery can provide energy up to 8 hours.

Other details of the ASUS Eee Pc 1201N that will be sold in the US for $500, include a good set of stereo speakers, WiFi, bluetooth, and a reader for MMC or SD memory cards.
