Now, this may be a typo, but Newegg has recently put up a listing for the ASUS Eee PC 1201N that says it is shipping now. This goes against the previously announced release date of January 15th.

But anyways, if Newegg is actually shipping this netbook now you will be getting a 1.60GHz Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM a 250GB HDD and NVIDIA’s ION GPU, all for $499.99. Oh, did we mention it’s running Windows 7 Home Premium?
