The Eee Phone came up during CES 2009 and it was immediately linked to Android. So will Asus make an ultra-cheap Android Eee smartphone? It seems that the official answer is yes. Jonney Shih told the Times that the EE Phone will let you control all your Asus gear but he didn’t say weather the OS is going to be Google’s OS. On the other hand, now that we know the Eee Phone has been confirmed, wouldn’t it be really easier for Asus to simply pick up Android and throw it in their new phone? Since Android is so cheap and everything? Would anyone from Asus care to comment?
