ASUS’ AiGuru SV1T touchscreen videophoneBy Jeff Baker - 09/18/2009 8:09:06 AM |

Now a days, a stand alone videophone would seem like a waste of money considering you can’t do anything with it besides make video calls. However, 20-30 years ago, such a device would be the most amazing thing ever. Well, it seems that ASUS is a bit late as they have recently shown off the above AiGuru SV1T videophone for use with Skype.
Honestly though, this the AiGuru SV1T videophone is a pretty nifty device with an 800×480 7-inch touchscreen display, WiFi and Ethernet connectivity, a VGA webcam, microphone and speakers.
Unfortunately, due to the fact that it will probably be priced right around $300, it will most likely never come off because why buy one of these when you can jut get a netbook for the same price that does the same thing, plus more?
