Ask Mobile was named the Best Mobile Site of 2007 by the Webby Awards, a leading international honor for websites. With over 400,000 votes cast, Ask Mobile (http://mobile.ask.com) not only won the Webby Award, but were also chosen as the People’s Voice winner.
Ask Mobile launched in October 2006, and has since won the praise of both the media and users. It was also recently noted as a top mobile site by dotMobi. Ask Mobile is designed specifically with mobile phone users in mind, and incorporates neat features designed to minimize keystrokes, increase navigability on small displays, and accelerate page loads. They offer a special interface and search tools to help mobile searchers find what they want faster.
