Asiq has announced the first Aircraft Bluetooth Access Point, which will allow users to browse the web, transfer files, and send or receive SMS or MMS messages whine inside the plane.
The AP works in coordination with the Asiq SafeCell application and will cost approximately $10,000 per plane. The limitations are 192 simultaneous connections at the same time, and a transfer speed of 3Mbps. Interestingly enough, only two of the new Asiq Aircraft Bluetooth Access Points are needed to cover a wole aircraft.
