ASIMO – Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility Hits Bris VegasBy Maverick - 12/10/2007 3:50:58 AM |
I just got back from a Toyoto event in Brissy where they were showing off ASIMO! the world’s most advanced humanoid robot. This thing is unbelievable. ASIMO, whose name stands for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility can do heaps of crazy things like play the violin and soccer, techno dance, recognize people, chat with them and remember their names, actually the thing doesn’t stop talking and to my utter amazement it was running to. If this ever comes on the market for sale, I’m definitely going to try and get one, he could get my mail, make my brekky in the morning, go to the butcher for me, bush walks and everything it would be awesome!!
The 130cm robot is the result of 21 years of research and development by Honda.
