Archos 705 PMP available on Europe
The Archos 705 portable media player was first revealed a few months ago, in February, but the cool device has just been added to the European online Archos store. The price is quite modest, costing €400 which is close to $578. A bit pricey for a PMP? Taking in consideration its features, I'd say it isn't that expensive.
The Archos 705, which is a follow up of the 704 model, has a much better interface when comparing to the previous version. The booting time is also better and only needs a few seconds in order to start it up.
Other improvements include an easier experience while browsing thanks to the virtual keyboard, a touchscreen which is suppose to have less smudges, therefore making the watching-video experience also better.
Small details like zooming, forward and backward functions, drag and drop features, and subtitles, also had a positive review at Archoslounge.
