Apple’s Shares Are Down; Everyone’s Shares Are DownBy Chris - 09/29/2008 8:13:15 PM |

Apple shares took a 17% tumble today. Everybody else who’s anybody saw their shares dropping valuable points today. No matter what business we are talking about, its shares took a smaller or bigger plunge following the Nasdaq and Dow Jones.
The $700 billion emergency bailout failed to pass the House today creating one of the worst trading days in Wall Street ever since 9/11. The Dow Jones lost 800 points which is its personal worst ever.
The financial crisis in the U.S. will have a deep impact all over the world. Besides Apple other important manufacturers in the mobile business have seen significant share price drops. Nokia, Google, Microsoft, HP, Dell and so many others will be counting on those able to come up with a solution to do just that. The vote was very close. 228 against it and 205 for.
But hey, let’s see what tomorrow brings. In the mean time, get a hold of your broker. He should tell you what you should do with your shares if you have any.
