Apple was rumored to have a kill switch inside the iPhone 3G which could disable unwanted applications on your iPhone. And Jobs confirmed such a switch existed indeed. Whether you like it or not that means Apple can pretty much do stuff to your handset as it pleases.

Well not anymore. It appears there’s an updated BossPrefs application which will disable Apple’s App Killswitch. This is available only after jailbreaking your phone first. What will you do now Apple?
