For the many new iPhone 3G S owners, check out the back cover of your phone and check if they are showing some discoloration. If so, chances are your unit is overheating and hence some preventive measures must be taken.

Despite no formal claims from Apple, reports of iPhones overheating has been widespread today, affecting mostly the newly released iPhone 3G S. But while you may think it is a defect, Apple announces that special care must be done to avoid these overheating issues.
