Apple Unveils Near Final Mac OS X Leopard
If you thought you had enough of 'Tiger' wait for the 'Leapord' to blow you over! Just as the whole world seems to be settling to Vista quietly figuring out all the latest bugs that tag along as free package with it, Apple announced its new cutting edge near final version of Mac OS(R) X Leopard, the sixth major release of the world's most advanced operating system. Steve is back on stage, this time around demonstrating his Mac Leopard and according to him Leopard is the best release of Mac OS X to date, surpassing even Tiger. If you are familiar with the Tiger version of Mac, the Leopard may not appeal to you instantly, but the current one comes with whole lot of features and applications to mesmerise you. Apple claims it has added more than 300 new features, including a new Desktop and Dock with Stacks, an intuitive new way to organize files; an updated Finder featuring Cover Flow and an entirely new way to easily browse and share files between multiple Macs. Lets take a closer look at all the features that is included.

* Leopard Mail, offering more than 30 beautiful stationery designs and layouts that look great on a Mac or Windows PC
* Leopard iChat with iChat Theater
* Leopard iCal, with calendaring features based on the open CalDAV standard.
* Boot Camp, making it possible to run Windows natively on Intel-based Macs(Copy of Windows XP or Vista required)
* New development tools, including Xcode(R) 3 with a next generation editor.
* Web Clip, bringing anything that a user wants from a web page to Dashboard as a live widget.
