Apple has now begun shipping their new Apple TV. The Apple TV allows the user to wirelessly access and play content from your PCs or Macs. It can auto-sync from one computer or stream content from up to five additional computers directly to your TV using high-speed AirPort 802.11 wireless networking.

The seamless integration of Apple TV and iTunes allows users to access and choose movies, TV shows, songs, music videos, podcasts, and audiobooks from the iTunes Store Apple TV has a 40GB hard drive capable of storage of roughly 50 hours of video, 9,000 songs, or 25,000 photos.

Apple TV comes packaged with the Apple Remote and willl be available beginning this week from the online Apple Store. Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers for a suggested retail price of $299.
