People say that Apple is reducing iPhone 3G production for the rest of the year. These people are the Pacific Crest analyst group whose sources claim that Apple is going to order just 14-15 million iPhone units.
Pacific Crest says that the 8GB model is still the fastest one to sell yet. Chances are that most carriers and Apple store have plenty of 16GB versions while 8GB versions go out first.
So if Apple is going to reduce their iPhone orders, exactly how many did they have in mind for the rest of 2008? Are they going to sell 15 million in the following 3 months?
