Sick and tired of your iPhone 4 dropping calls, losing signal and giving you headaches? Well if you weren’t aware, Apple help an emergency press conference today to address the problem and you may or may not be pleased with their solution. As you may have heard, the problem revolves around hardware and Apple has said time and time again that they would not be able to fix the problem with a software update. However, they then went on to say that this problem is common and happens across a wide spectrum of devices and that the media blew the iPhone 4′s reception issues out of proportion.

Whether or not you believe that, you may be wondering what this solution may be. Well, Apple will be giving out free cases to every iPhone 4 owner along with offering a full refund for those who are fed up with the phone.

Seems like just a band-aid to me, but at least they didn’t just say we are out of luck.
