Apple to hold a huge event on January 26 (iSlate, maybe?)

According to an unnamed source of Fox News, Apple is intending to announce something to the mobile world on January 26th.

In fact, Apple has rented out the Yerba Beuna Center for the Arts in San Francisco in late January. You may recall that the last time Apple held a shindig at the Yerba Beuna Center of the Arts, it was the Rock and Roll event which introduced the world to upgrades in its iPods and iPhones.

It isn’t hard to speculate that the iSlate will be formally announced on January 26th. Considering how many tablets are going to be on display at CES 2010 on January 7-10, will anyone care?
