Apple to Enter Europe Beginning With O2 in the UK

More iPhone news (sorry about that!). According to inside knowledge that the Financial Times has, UK carrier O2 will be offering the Apple iPhone to its subscribers. What's more, the iPhone will hit other European countries like France (through Orange) and Germany (through T-Mobile).
And the reason why Vodafone is not getting the iPhone? Because its 3G network is just "too advanced for the 2.5G EDGE phone from Apple". Now, we can't really say how warm or cold a reception the iPhone will have in Europe, one of the primary reasons being the high price
Anyway, we should have more details soon.
