Apple Stores to Open 8AM for iPhone CustomersBy Chris - 07/29/2008 6:42:09 AM |

It appears Apple is taking more and more steps to improve our iPhone buying experience. Apple stores will open at 8AM, two hours earlier than regular. They are also adding staff to diminish wait times. That’s all great Apple, but say I come in the store to ask about the new MacBook Touch. Can I do that from 8AM or would I be required to wait until after 10AM?
Apple is also going to introduce a new iPhone selling strategy. Until now Apple had iPhones for those waiting in line. What you can do now is get a “rain check”, go about your business, and return to the store to pick your iPhone before 6AM.
But what about iPhone stock? Are we to understand there aren’t going to be anymore problems and delays with any of the three iPhone 3G versions. It would be useless to come in at 8AM and wait in line for a product that’s not in store anymore. What about iPhone firmware bugs? Sure there’s version 2.1 out there already. What about MobileMe? What about copy paste Apple? What are you going to do about that?
