Apple Starts Its Billion App Countdown

While everyone else is trying to get their own app store up and running properly Apple is thinking outside the box when it comes to the original App Store. In fact Apple is way out of the box on this one as it has just launched its Billion App Countdown promotion. The one-billionth app download will be rewarded with a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card, a 32GB iPod touch, a Time Capsule and a 17-inch MacBook Pro. Will you be the winner? Simply purchase an app or complete a non-purchase online entry hoping that you’re going to be the lucky billionth person.
